This is a fun activity in Clapham, London
Azulejos tiles are a unique type of tile decoration that is deeply intertwined with Portuguese culture. You can find them everywhere: from shops to private homes, palaces, churches, train stations, and countless other places.
You will be supported by a friendly experienced tutor from Art4Space, who will guide you through the experience. Where you will you will learn about basic glaze theory and practice while exploring colour, texture, and pattern by applying underglaze to a bisque ware tile. Stencil and paint your way to beautiful, glazed ceramic tile.
You will create one finished ceramic tile(s). Once fired the results are stunning! Your tile will be glazed by our staff in a transparent dipping glaze then fired. You receive your posted creation within a month, imagine the magical moment when you open your box to reveal the results!
