“I went for my birthday with my partner and Helena was absolutely amazing. I made lots of wontons and dumplings as well as tried some afterwards, which was absolutely amazing. Will definitely recommend it to everyone and she honestly is so funny, real and just a vibe!!!!”

“Helena was brilliant! She gave clear instructions and came around everyone to help if they needed it. Even with a full class we got to make plenty of each item. Helena then cooked up multiple plates full of wontons and dumplings in a lovely sauce for us to try - really tasty and fun!”

“My friends gifted me this for my birthday and it was the best present! I went with my boyfriend to Woolwich where the class was taking place. Rushing in the heavy rain, we scurried into ‘House of Denna’ which is the cosiest little haven tucked just off Woolwich Pier. We were greeted by Denna herself who was so friendly and sat us down. We made friends with the girls on our table and ordered some drinks. Hel began by welcoming everyone to the class and started explaining each different dumpling. She was amazing, folding dumplings without even looking! She explain so thoroughly and made sure every single person knew what they were doing. She was so warm, kind, funny and knowledgeable. We ended up making so many more dumplings that I thought! It was so meditative and fun. I was very excited to learn a new skill and experiment with different folds! After about an hour and a half of folding, Hel began cooking the dumplings that she’d been making herself throughout the class. We all got our fair sharing of dumplings at the end of class and they were unreal. My boyfriend and I went home feeling very pleased with our masse of dumplings and cooked them the next day. Hel kindly send out recipes so you can cook them and home and that’s what we did! They were so good and I can’t wait to make dumplings now for all my friends and family. If you’re thinking about heading to this class by yourself, with a friend or buying it for a present - DO IT! Many thanks to Hel and Denna for making it such a wonderful experience. We will be back ❤️”

“The teacher was fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly. I went with my sister, and we had a great time. Highly recommend learning how to fold dumplings here, it's a really friendly atmosphere, and you even get to eat some dumplings at the end!”

“A great experience overall. The teacher was kind and explained what do to really well. It's inevitable to mess up some dumplings when you're still learning the folds, but that's part of the fun of it! A friendly atmosphere and welcoming place - and easy to find, which is important. I had a lot of fun and would recommend this to others.”

“Excellent teacher, patient and funny. Nice venue and well organised. Time flew by! Veggie and vegans were well catered for, only thing to mention is the wrappers were a bit thick.”
