“I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop! Iris was attentive and informative and made things fun and easy to follow. After explaining a bit of history behind calligraphy, Iris helped us perfect our brush strokes, and we could write on a scroll or fan to take home too. Would highly recommend!”

“The calligraphy session was serene and meditative. The class was setup thoughtfully which strikes the perfect balance between learning skilled strokes but not too intensively (if you're a beginner, this balance helps). The teacher was extremely patient, kind,affable and thorough. Highly recommend her class!”

“Iris was an incredible teacher. So patient with a very diverse range of classmates. She took a real interest in us all, taking time to find out what we already knew and why we were at the class. She has a lovely calm and welcoming manner. She taught us a little about the history of the characters and different styles. She gave us plenty of time to practice and gave everyone individual attention to improve their technique. We had a choice of beautiful things we could take home with our choice of words or sayings on. A lovely, relaxing class and an amazing teacher”
