Join me in my home studio in Leicester and create 2 ocean themed / abstract coasters.
In this resin beginners class you will have the opportunity to create two 10cm beautiful ocean/abstract works of art/coasters using high-quality grade epoxy resin, mica powders & other art mediums.
This class is perfect for newbies who want to learn about epoxy resin and techniques in a friendly, supportive, and encouraging environment. It is also a fantastic workshop for those interested in creating and learning about a new medium, which can be daunting and challenging to some.
What’s Included in this class:
- Shared knowledge and wisdom from an experienced resin artist (tips, information, techniques, and guidance)
- A Demonstration will be delivered to ensure learners become familiar with the medium, materials & tools.
- Learn about different resins, mixing ratios, how to mix, curing times, and how to remove unwanted resin drips, and more.
- All materials provided: high-grade epoxy resin, mica powders, tints, inks, personal protective equipment, and a safe working environment.
- Insight into the workings of epoxy resin.
- How to prepare your substrate for resin art.
- The creation of two beautiful miniature works of art on a 10 cm substrate, which you can either hang on your wall or use as coasters.
- Newfound creative skills and confidence with epoxy resin.
Upgrades: Optional products can be created, including resin wall art, resin ocean-inspired coasters, ocean mirror, tray table, serving platters/trays, and more.
*Please be aware that epoxy resin art takes approximately 7 days to fully dry so you will not be able to take away your piece on the day.
