This is a fun activity in Brighton and Hove, Brighton

In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn how to create your own stunning foil stained glass creation. Whether you choose to make something such as a small star or leaf, you will leave the workshop with a beautiful piece to call your own. Before the workshop, we can collaborate to design your glass piece, ensuring that your pattern is ready to be brought to life on the day, so if you have an idea in mind, do let us know prior to the workshop or if you prefer, we also have a selection of pre-designed options for you to choose from.

No creative experience required

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to work with copper foil and other materials to bring your design to life. Don't worry if you are new to stained glass; we'll guide you through the process step by step.

At the end of the workshop, you will proudly take home your own handmade stained glass creation, a unique piece of art that reflects your personal style and creativity. Embrace the beauty of stained glass and discover the joy of creating something truly special.

“Ruth was a wonderful teacher. My mum and I had never tried stained glass before, and she was a very patient guide through the process! She had templates prepared for the projects we each wanted to make - a shark and a robin. Picking out the glass we wanted to use from her collection was lovely, and the studio was cosy. She was able to accomodate my mum's difficulty standing for long periods, and she was a pleasure to chat with throughout the making process.”

“I did a private workshop with Ruth and had a fantastic time making my first stained glass project! Ruth is an attentive teacher and the class was relaxing, almost meditative, in a workshop surrounded by tools and fine examples of the trade. (There were also chickens outside.) I got to pick a design and try choosing, cutting and polishing glass, foiling it, and soldering it together to make a piece. The class was so much fun and the result was beautiful! Highly recommended.”

“Christmas present for the girls - From arriving at the venue to leaving, we were made very welcome and were very relaxed. Full and clear instructions, and help given through out all the stages of our stained glass journey. Walked away with a completed piece if stained glass. WE were all vey pleased as it was our first attempt. Would highly recommend this work shop.”
