This is a fun activity in Greenwich, London

Weave your own cushion on a Japanese floor loom at London's only dedicated floor loom weaving studio. You'll choose your colours from our yarn wall with hundreds of sustainable and natural yarns, and weave the fabric for a cushion that's entirely yours.

No experience needed. Your loom will be set up and ready when you arrive. We will guide you through the whole process, from choosing your yarn to working the pedals and shuttle, so you'll be weaving confidently within minutes.

By the end of the 2.5-hour session, you'll have woven enough cloth for a finished cushion. We'll sew it up for you after the workshop and it'll be ready to collect or post.

“Fantastic workshop! I went with my mum and sister for my sister’s birthday and the time flew by. We’ve been to lots of craft workshops and this has been our favourite so far, it’s rare to have such a professional looking final piece to take home with you on the day! And to top it off the instructors were lovely, we felt very welcome in their studio. We were complete beginners and found this craft easy to pick up, which allowed us to have as much creative control as we wished. Thank you so much!!! We are already thinking about taking our friends along!”

“This workshop is fantastic. The equipment and materials are excellent and the studio was light and airy. Erna is an excellent teacher and very warm and welcoming. There’s a great range of yarns to choose from the looms were great quality and easy to use. I was able to weave something beautiful and unique. The studio is right beside Deptford station and the yard below has lots of independent coffee shops and cafes. I would highly recommend this workshop.”
