This is a fun activity in Canary Wharf, London

This is a beginner friendly class where you discover the joy of creating with yarn.

In this class our experienced teacher will guide you through 3 essential stitches in crochet. These stitches are a basis for most crochet techniques, so by the end of the class you will have a basic knowledge to start making your own things or learn more complicated techniques.

The nature of this class is very relaxed and playful as you're not following a pattern, so you can go at your own pace and be as free as you want.

The teacher will also give you tips on changing colors, sewing pieces together, finishing the piece and answer all your questions about crochet.

We also provide all participants with a crochet hook and yarn, so you can go home and continue practicing straight away.

I really enjoyed this class. The instructor was helpful and explained how to do the stitches in a simple way. First she demonstrated a stitch to the group and then made her way around individual to help each person, which was great.

I've tried and failed to learn crochet before but this was made so easy and explained so well, I feel like I finally got the hang of it! The time went so fast I couldn't believe it. Highly recommended!

Valeria was a fantastic teacher, showing us how to chain, double, and treble stitch. She gave 1-1 instruction throughout the session, and gave us plenty of time to practice and ask questions. For the more advanced crocheters, she also showed how to change colors. I was a novice at crochet and feel like I could keep working on my skills at home now. I'm looking forward to taking another class with Valeria to learn more advanced tecniques, too!! On a more practical note - the instructions for getting to the location were great, it was a comfortable, warm, and well-lit space, and there are easily accessible public toilets (clean!) less than 5 minutes away. Re: gift cards, this was paid for in part with a gift card. When the card arrived in the mail, I almost threw it away because it looked like junk mail. It didn't say it was a gift card, didn't state what amount/what class, didn't say who it was from. "Voucher for a class" with a QR code - not at all personalized. Class Bento - please review your gift cards, they are not up to par with the quality of the classes/teachers.

Valeria was a delightful teacher. She was vary patient and encouraging. From absolute beginners who had never held a crochet hook to slightly more experienced clients who wanted to refresh and expand on their knowledge. This was a great taster class.
