This is a fun activity in Stoke Newington, London
During this two-hour session, you will utilise the traditional techniques of handbuilding like coiling, slabbing, and pinch pot to create beautiful pieces and develop a practise that embraces organic forms. This course is great for beginners or anyone who'd like to rekindle their love for handbuilding.
By the end of the two hours, you'll have your very own creation with the option to fire and glaze it (an additional £5). For more information about our cancellation policy, please see our FAQ section.
This session is BYOB, so please feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks and enjoy your Friday evening with us!
Please wear old clothing and have trimmed nails as you will be getting stuck in!
Notes:
Please note that due to the nature of clay, results may differ from expectation, including but not limited to:
- Glaze may vary from examples and are for reference only
- Texture created may not be shown in the final result
- Pots will appear smaller from what you created from class, since clay has a 15% shrinkage
- Pots may not be completely cleaned and may have small lumps of clay
- Pots may be cracked or exploded
We offer delivery of your pots for a £15 fee to be requested and paid for at the end of the class.
We try our best to mitigate this problem, but these are inevitable. Unfortunately, the class is non-refundable, and we are only able to reimburse you if your work exploded.
