“Our teacher, Jenny, was amazing throughout the class and really helped my partner and I understand the intricacies of creating a hand-tied bouquet. This included how to arrange a number of different flowers and how to layer different sheets to help make your bouquet pop! Jenny was also very personable and made the experience fun by engaging with us throughout the session and also giving us the creative freedom to create really stunning bouquets. I took my partner as an anniversary gift and she absolutely loved it. I would really recommend this experience for people who want to try something different. The added bonus of taking your wonderful bouquet home really wrapped things up for us!”
“This was an absolutely wonderful experience. Jenny was very knowledgeable in the field and had a great sense for aesthetics and colour, picking beautiful and fresh flowers that perfectly matched the season. Her cheery demeanour only served to make the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Although we were beginners, her instructions were clear and easy to follow. As the flowers were chosen beforehand, we were able to dive into the process while assured of a consistent theme. Paired with Jenny’s exceptionally elegant style of arranging, we walked away with two incredible bouquets at the end of the session.
As a teacher, Jenny is excellent. There were many occasions where we felt our arrangements “looked off”. However, she was able to break down the reasons for the awkward appearance, while providing various options on how to improve upon it. The clarity with which she walked us through her thought process pushed it beyond a simple “make a bouquet course” into a learning experience we can apply when arranging flowers for our home in the future.
