I recd. the class as a gift from my daughter, our grown-up family of four attended. The communication was good leading up to the class. The teachers were friendly and helpful, the equiptment provided was excellent, aprons included. There was ample clay. We initially lacked inspiration, as you are left totally free to make whatever, with basic inst. given re sticking bits together etc. However, we all eventually produced items of decent if varied quality. The only problem with the spacious open plan bar area the class was held in, was the music and TV screens, which the host venue apparently wouldn't turn the volume down on, while the teacher was trying to explain about the skills reqd. This only took her approx 3 mins, and was almost completely mimed, as we couldn't hear a thing !! Venue Rude :( The next issue faced by us sculpters was safely transporting our soft clay creations home safely !! The class provided a fairly sturdy 'plate', and a large paper bag to help with this. We went to the class not knowing what to expect, but were a bit worried to find that whatever we made had to be taken away, left to fully dry for about a week, before being painted in Mod Podge glue, and then colour painted (if we felt inclined). We were staying overnight in accommodation not too far away from the class, but then had to safely transport the still very delicate masterpieces, along with rucksacks, and various other luggage, back to our hometown on the train !!!!! By some miracle they have all survived relitavely intact :))) We have yet to see them fully dry, or paint them etc. Another thing to note is that apparently the finished articles aren't suitable for food, but tbh I think that as long as you only put dry goods in/on your article it would probably be ok. Overall a fun activity that requires more fore thought than real skill. I made a horse head that I am proud of, my eldest made an F1 car (yes really !), youngest, a lidded storage pot, and the husband made a life size mole (yes really !)

Really enjoyed the class! The teacher was very friendly and helpful. We had fun creating a range of Christmas decorations. It would be a great event to attend with friends, family, or a date.

Good fun, great for beginners. Could have done with a rolling pin and cookie cutters, but other than that, had everything we needed! Friendly host, helped everyone when needed, would recommend
