Fancy a wholesome afternoon creating pottery? Discover the joy of making your own beautiful handmade pieces at this fun and hands-on workshop which runs in various venues across Preston and Manchester.
Your passionate teacher, Hollie will be hosting her clayful hand building pottery classes using the technique of 'pinching' which is perfect for those total clay newbies! You'll be shown how to use the air-dry clay with a quick demo at the start, then you'll be given the freedom to let your imagination run wild.
There will be guidance gladly provided throughout the workshop. Popular finished products so far have been trinket dishes, ashtrays, planters, candlestick holders, sculptures and more. As this is a festive themed class, I'll be including different festive decorative stamps for you to personalise your piece.
At the end of this relaxed and casual pottery workshop, you'll have the confidence, knowledge and skills to continue your DIY journey with hand building clay!
