Looking for unique things to do in Cheshire? Learn how to bake with the brilliant Dan Hunter from The Great British Bake Off in this exciting, hands-on class.
This is your gateway to Patissiere. Learning new techniques and skills. The class is small, interactive, and with plenty of opportunity for questions and guidance. It’s great fun and really not as hard as you might think; you just need to be shown how.
Although not simple bakes, it is still perfect for beginners. This class is fun, relaxed, and informative. There will be a bit of pair work, but you can come on your own or bring a friend. Everybody is welcome.
What will we be baking?
- Financiers: A small almond cake made with a beurre noisette. Topped with fresh seasonal fruit and a fruit glaze.
- Baci Di Dama: “Ladies kisses”. An Italian nutty biscuit that melts in the mouth.
- Sable Biscuit: A classic French shortbread biscuit.
There will be a tea and cake break during the class and enjoy a Q&A session with Dan.
There will be plenty of the treats you made to take home, but please bring your container.
