The Teacher was friendly and showed us how to paint a lovely picture of a robin. She was happy to help with any queries and I learnt the best way to mix colours to get the colour I wanted. There were some negatives - the zoom link didn’t work and the office was closed so I thought I was going to miss the class. Luckily I worked out the problem and found the necessary passcode hidden in the zoom text. There was also no details of what we were due to paint given but luckily I was happy with the Robin.

Annabel, the tutor, was good and provided lots of explanations. It was quite a pleasing subject. The event did take up rather a lot of time. In fact I think it ran for an extra hour. That is a long time for concentrated working.

It was great to meet Annabel who will be looking after the online sessions whilst Becky goes off on maternity leave. Annabel has a slightly different way of teaching to Becky and I do commend her getting to grips with the technology side of online teaching. Looking forward to seeing things develop.

This was the first paint and sip I've taken part in. I honestly didn't think I'd be able to paint anything that remotely resembles a rabbit, but I did! The guidance with tips as to how to position certain parts, helped me to get the perspective better than I thought I could. The only improvement I would recommend is to keep the pace consistent. I felt some parts were quite slow and others slightly too fast. But overall I really enjoyed the session and would recommend it.
