Join me, Katie of KP Studio, for a pottery class in my Brighton studio. During this workshop, you'll learn how to create your very own one-of-a-kind mug using traditional slab-building techniques. We'll also explore surface textures and pattern through mark making and pressing with foraged foliage - think foraged leaves, gnarled twigs, and rocks.
Don't worry if you're a beginner - all levels and abilities are welcome. This class is designed to be a welcoming and uplifting experience. You'll have the chance to roll your sleeves up, let your mind switch off, and really connect with the act of making with a material drawn from the earth.
Throughout the workshop, I'll guide you through each step of the process, ensuring you feel confident and supported. We'll work with high-quality materials and tools to create your very own unique mug.
After the workshop, your finished piece will be glazed and fired, ready for collection within 4 weeks.
