“Really enjoyed the class, Jasper was really helpful and hands on. I had never used oil paints before, so Jasper taught us a lot about the medium. We worked in stages from sketching basic shapes, refining these then indicating our areas of light and dark values which we then painted in, and then we worked more on how to indicate shape and texture. The vibe was great with jazz music and a relaxed atmosphere. In the end, I’m super pleased with my final piece, especially as a complete beginner to oils. Would definitely recommend!!”

“Truly enjoyed the oil painting class today. It was relaxed and a great class for beginners: Jasper explained all the fundamentals of how to paint with oil paints, using the tools, composition, colour mixing etc. He is an extremely approachable, kind and talented tutor. All the materials were provided. Will definitely attend another class at the studio.”

“Great workshop. Our teacher was very friendly and welcoming. The workshop was very well structured it was broken down in to easy to follow steps. Our teacher was very supportive and extremely knowledgeable. Having never used oil paint before I left with a credible picture and more importantly the knowledge and confidence to take this forward in my own time. Thank you very much, great session.”
