If you're keen to learn a new skill, join us for a unique silversmithing class in London where you'll learn the art of wax carving and sculpting to create your very own silver ring.
Don't worry if you're a complete beginner with no prior jewellery making experience - our friendly team at Ringsmiths will guide you every step of the way, sure you feel comfortable and confident during the workshop.
Here's what to expect during the workshop:
- Dive into the lost wax process and its uses
- Get hands-on experience with carving wax to design your ring
- Learn various techniques and tools used in wax carving
- Sketch out your ring design and bring it to life in 3D
After the workshop, your wax carved ring will be cast, finished, and polished using recycled silver by our skilled jewellers. Within 3 working weeks, you'll have your unique silver ring ready for collection or delivery.
Carving wax gives you endless options to freely design whatever ring you want, as you are not limited to a silver wire or strip. This technique allows you to create something 3D, abstract, classic, chunky, geometric or organic, so you can let your imagination run wild!
Age requirement: Participants must be 18 or over.
Optional extras such as engraving, gold plating, gemstone setting and solid gold/platinum casting are offered at an additional cost. These can be requested and paid for at the end of the class.
