This is a fun activity in South Kensington, London

Improve your observational sketching and learn how to sketch in one-point perspective at the V&A Museum, with experienced illustrator and tutor Natalie Arnold.

This session is aimed at improving your observational sketching using perspective drawing techniques. It is suitable for all - beginners who are new to drawing, artists wanting to improve their technique and designers looking to enhance their freehand sketching skills. Some drawing experience is helpful but not essential as tuition is tuned to the individual - whatever level of drawing you are currently at!

You will be calmly guided through the perspective sketching process in what aims to be an enjoyable and creative session. A maximum of 10 students enables more individual attention for each student and a better learning experience.

By the end of the workshop, you'll take home a sketchbook filled with your drawings, showing your progress, growing confidence, and the techniques you've learned along the way. You'll also have at least one one-point perspective drawing that you'll be pleased with.

“I had a lovely class with Natalie at the V&A! She was kind, patient and gave me really helpful pointers on where I can improve. I enjoyed the exhibits she took us to and feel much more confident about drawing buildings, rooms and objects than before. I can't wait to practice!”

“Natalie was such a great teacher and a lovely person to chat with. She obviously knew the museum well and knew where the most reliable places to sit and draw were. The course was well-planned to build on skills, both pre-existing and from the progression from beginning to end of the day. And she was very willing to work with even an experienced artist and gave me a new perspective on some techniques and had me drawing objects that were out of my usual comfort zone. I highly recommend.”
