Our kintsugi workshop, taught in small groups of up to eight, will get you to feel comfortable with the philosophy of finding beauty in the imperfect; it's the perfect introduction to kintsugi!

By the end of this session you will have:
- Made your own kintsugi pot by breaking a Japanese-sourced pot and repairing it with gold
- Learned basic kintsugi techniques
- Gained knowledge on this Japanese art of repair and its cultural significance
- Built enough confidence to be able to repair ceramics at home

The class includes instruction and guidance from our experienced founder and materials and equipment (including pottery sourced from Japanese families with kilns in their homes!)

Our classes are non-refundable so please make sure you’ve checked your diary carefully before agreeing a time and making a payment.

The kintsugi class with Charlotte was amazing. Myself and my husband had a private class on my birthday, this was lovely as Charlotte was able to spend a good amount of time with us, explaining the art of kintsugi and the technique. She was so friendly and we felt so comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole experience. Would definitely recommend!! Thank you Charlotte for a lovely birthday experience!

Charlotte was amazing, the whole workshop felt therapeutic. Never knew how the time flew by. The workshop was done in a super nice way. The best part was Charlotte and how she explained the whole meaning of kintsugi. Broken but beautiful.

This was awesome fun, super intimate and cosy private session. Breaking traditional Japanese small pots and repairing them. Beware you'll have gold glitter everywhere for days after haha We had a blast and have something to put in our home as a memory. Thanks Charlotte!
