“My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time creating a wildflower design in stained glass. Our instructor, Ffion, was incredibly easygoing and empathetic. She communicated clearly and guided us carefully through each step of the workshop. We’re extremely grateful for this unforgettable experience.
However, there are a few aspects that could be improved. We attended the workshop on a very cold day, with temperatures around -2°C. Unfortunately, the building wasn’t heated, and although our instructor provided some heating elements, the space itself was far from cozy or welcoming. To be honest, it was uncomfortably cold—my girlfriend’s feet even went numb. Adding to the discomfort, there was no hot water in the building, which made visits to the restroom challenging.
The location of the Mivart Studios (or more broadly, the historic building) was another concern. The surrounding neighborhood felt somewhat unsafe, unwelcoming, and quite dirty. It lacked the convenience of nearby cafés like Costa, Pret, or Starbucks, which could have enhanced the overall experience.
Additionally, I would have loved to see a greater variety of flowers and stained glass options provided for the workshop. On a personal note, I felt the price for this event was a bit high considering these limitations.
That said, we still had an enjoyable time, and we’re looking forward to trying other activities with ClassBento.
