Unlock your creativity and bring your vision to life with this hands-on pottery class in Bristol! You'll explore the art of hand building, learning the key techniques of coiling, to create your own one-of-a-kind vase.
The session starts with a relaxed brainstorming session, where you'll spend 10-15 minutes sketching out ideas and visualising your design. Once you've settled on a concept, you'll be guided through the process of shaping your vase from scratch. The best part? There's no limit to your creativity! You can personalise your piece with intricate details, whether it's stamping your name or sculpting decorative shapes to add on later.
When your vase is ready, it's time to add some colour! You'll have a selection of paints to choose from, allowing you to bring your design to life with your unique artistic touch. After the workshop, your piece will be bisque fired, glazed, and fired again, making it ready for collection in about 4-6 weeks. We’ll let you know when your creation is ready, and we’ll keep it safe for up to three months for you to collect.
