In this North London baking class, you'll learn the step-by-step process of making sourdough bread, focaccia, and pizza. You’ll also create your own sourdough focaccia, customising it with your choice of toppings from pre-fermented dough.

We'll cover how to maintain a healthy, active sourdough starter and explore what to do with any leftover starter, including making sourdough pancakes and crackers.

At the end of the session, you'll enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch, including the creations made during class.

Plus, you'll take home your own sourdough starter, a loaf of Bernie's Bakehouse sourdough, a dough scraper, and recipe sheets to help you continue your sourdough journey.

Great class - interactive, beautiful setting, delicious food and things to take away! Only suggestion would be to either try to eat lunch earlier or have little snacks throughout.

I had a wonderful time at Nicole’s sourdough workshop. The class was hands-on, well-organised, and full of helpful tips that made everything feel easy and enjoyable. Literally the best way to spend a Saturday morning! Having dabbled in the dark arts of sourdough with varying amounts of success I really enjoyed Nicole’s class. Not only did I finally learn how to properly make sourdough and care for the starter, I also learned about focaccia and pizza bases as well as recipes for the discard. She demonstrated everything for us and we got hands-on practice. She was able to pitch her instruction all of the levels in our very small group and the absolute icing on the cake was the opportunity to eat some of what we baked along with some delicious things she had prepared for our lunch. A gorgeous takeaway bag with a loaf, some starter and some extra goodies were so lovely. Genuinely, my first ever cooking based class and I loved it. Highly recommended!

Very lovely experience! The teacher Nicole was very knowledgeable and helpful. Learnt so much about sourdough making process, creative recipes and also get a first starter + lots of delicious bread back home! Will recommend anyone interested in sourdough making.
