“I went along to learn something new as I enjoy making jewellery for friends and family. The girls were very nice and helpful. I made a pair of resin earrings- I only wear silver so would have liked the choice to make silver ones but they only had the gold tone so that’s maybe something to consider going forward. I think nitrile/latex gloves should be offered too as it does get a bit sticky and although the girl said it was non toxic and safe I did a bit of research when I got home and they do advise to wear gloves and masks even with the UV resin. It was a good experience though - not as simple as it looks as it was quite fiddly but a nice end result. I might buy a starter kit and give it another go, certainly need a lot more practice! Thank you to the girls who made it a nice morning, they did offer some Prosecco which was a lovely touch but I had to decline as I was driving- maybe something non-alcoholic or coffee for the drivers ? Thanks again.”
