The making of the stained glass was great. The workshop is very well set up and instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Unfortunately Cheryl made a number of comments which made me incredibly uncomfortable. The worst of which was probably asking my fellow student what ethnicity she was, and saying she could tell she had some “spice” in her. She also said that these days the “wrong sorts” are having lots of children while the right sorts are not. There were also a number of political comments which are inappropriate for a classroom setting. I will not be returning to this location.

Fantastic day! Cheryl was great, small class (only 4 of us). I found it difficult to cut the glass to start with, it takes more pressure than you think! Once sorted all went well. I'm super proud of the end result, and plan to make more! (something one can do at home, with the right equipment). Lovely studio, lovely house.

The teacher, Cheryl, was ver friendly, knowledgable and encouraging. She guided us skilfully through the pricess of creating our own small stained glass window. It was an intense day, requiring concentration and precision. Cheryl kept everyone on track, helped everyone each step of the way and all of us left with an enormous sense of achievement along with our own piece of stained glass. I have a completely new appreciation of this craft and would thoroughly recomnend this experience.

I had an excellent day at Cheryl's studio learning how to work with glass and lead to make a small stained glass piece. Cheryl was amazing, very helpful and hospitable. The small-group setting (4 others) really aided with getting the right amount of help at the right time, and I walked away at the end of the day with a completed item to hang in my home.
