Our specialised workshop is designed for both beginners and experienced individuals seeking to elevate their upholstery and upcycling craft. Throughout the day, our expert instructors will guide you through a series of essential skills, including:
Prep: How to prepare wooden furniture ready for sanding. Learn the tools and techniques to sand, prep, and set to get the smoothest finish.
Painting & finishing: Learn about different paints, waxes, and lacquers and when to use them. With guided lessons on painting techniques to get a professional finish.
Fabric cutting: Gain proficiency in the art of fabric cutting. Our experienced instructors will teach you how to measure, mark, and cut your materials with precision, ensuring a perfect fit for your upholstered pieces.
Basic upholstery skills: Learn to use the correct tools and a compressed air gun to staple your new fabric onto the seat of your dining chair.
