I was gifted a voucher for this one day class in silver clay jewellery-making. I have done some silver jewellery-making before (my first classes / edxperience were with Penny so I was very happy to go back for something different). Before I went I had no idea what silver clay was but Penny was great - very thorough explanations and demonstrations, and very patient! She went through the tools needed, the clay and how to work with it / look after it, texturing, drying, jewel setting, polishing etc. She also got us making moulds, and using diferent tehniques to create differnt finishes / items. Came away with 4 new jewellery pieces, 3 moulds and a load of new skills and enthusiasm. Would highly recommend even for complete beginners!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Penny was the perfect teacher - patient, knowledgeable and a lovely person. I booked the class for my mother’s 70th birthday treat as she’s arty and retired, I was thinking that it might interest her to try something new. We are all beginners (and one of us isn’t even particularly crafty) but with Penny’s guidance we were able to make wonderful charms and earrings. The balance between being shown what to do and getting stuck in was perfect too - my attention span is woeful so I was relieved that there was so much to do! All three of us would book again in a heartbeat, so much fun! Thank you Penny!

Penny is an amazing teacher. Shes very detailed, helpful since the beginning until the end of the course. All materials were provided so the students only need to think about the design. Hopefully someday i can join another course that she offers.
