Looking to expand your hand-building knowledge? This workshop will take you through all the steps to create your own beautiful ceramic raw glazed tiles.
You will be guided through:
- How to make tiles in different pattern formations
- The different states of clay needed to achieve your design
- Carving out your own design
- What we mean by 'Raw Glazing'
- How to Raw Glaze your tile (filling in the design directly with glaze creating different effects)
The Workshop will last 2.5 hours, and you will be required to return to the studio at a later date (approx. 3-4 weeks) to collect your tiles once they've been fired in the kiln.
The group will be limited to six people.
