Important Information

This is a traditional soap-making workshop, which means:

1. Your soaps will be soft immediately after making

2. They require 4–6 weeks to fully cure and harden

3. Soaps can or cannot be taken home fully finished on the same day (More information below)

5. They will not be wrapped like retail soaps at the time of collection. They will be packed in cardboard boxes because they will still be going through the curing phase and will require further airing and curing when you get home.

Soap Collection Option

Option 1: Free Collection (Later Pickup)

Your soaps will be unwrapped and carefully put in cardboard boxes for collection after the session on an agreed day. Please note they may still be soft and will continue curing at home.

Option 2: Take Home in a purchased Mould (£10)

You can purchase your soap mould from us on the day and take your soaps home with you after the session. This helps protect the shape while they set and allows you to continue curing them safely at home under your guidance. Please note, the soap with still be hot and in a custard-like state at the end of the session.

Option 3: Bring your own soap mould

You can bring your own soap mould to the session. This allows you to take your soap home at the end of the session, and it will continue curing at home under your guidance. Please note that the soap will still be hot and in a custard-like state.

A Complete Disappointment. I booked this via ClassBento as a Mother’s Day gift. We attended the class on the 1st, I collected the soap today after being told they were ready and "beautifully packaged", I received a mess. The "Packaging" was an insult: The advert shows soaps beautifully wrapped with labels. As my photos show, the teacher simply threw 10 soft soaps into a single cardboard box with no dividers or paper. They have stuck to the box and each other. The edges are crumbled, and the scents blending together. For a professional to store them this way is incredibly careless. The Workshop was misleading: Time: Advertised as 2 hours; it lasted barely 1 hour. Materials: Promised herbs, but none were provided. Instruction: Rushed and read from paper. We didn't learn about the benefits of essential oils as promised; we just followed a sheet recipe. No Choice: We weren't allowed to choose our moulds, they were already laid out. My 70-year-old mother was given a childish rainbow mould. This was supposed to be a special bonding experience, but it was a total waste of money. The photos of the "packaging" speak for themselves. I expected much higher standards from a ClassBento experience. *The photo taken in the box was taken in my car, I opened the box as soon as I left the venue. The soaps were careful places in my care to prevent any movement in the journey home.
