Discover the art of leather crafting in our workshops, where you can create unique, handcrafted cardholders and personalise them to your liking. No prior experience is required, as you’ll receive full guidance from the instructor every step of the way.

This session lasts between three and five hours, depending on the complexity of the cardholder you choose to make, with breaks scheduled every couple of hours. Participants are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks to enjoy during these intervals.

Throughout the workshop, you will learn essential leather-working techniques, including punching, cutting, edging, skiving, burnishing, stitching, finishing, and embossing. These skills will empower you to create beautiful, durable items with confidence and precision.

The workshops are conveniently located within a 10-minute walk from Eltham train station and a 15-minute walk from Mottingham train station.

We take pride in using only the finest quality full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather sourced ethically and sustainably. Our materials include cow leather from Derbyshire, UK, which is environmentally friendly and ages beautifully; goat leather imported from France, renowned for its durability and elegance; and kangaroo leather from a Derbyshire tannery, which is exceptionally lightweight yet strong.

“This was my second session with Naoum and was another excellent and very enjoyable workshop! The process is extremely well explained and organised and you are guided through everything step by step. Naoum is super experienced and understands the craft inside out and is a very good and supportive teacher. You have all the tools you need, the quality and choice of leather is really amazing too, and you can customise your own item with any letters/numbers etc. The size of the class is perfect so you get lots of attention and nice chit chats, good music, comfortable atmosphere. I'm so pleased with my card holder and never thought leather crafting could be so accessible, meditative and fun! I will be back again for sure.”

“I had a fantastic experience at the leather card holder workshop! Naoum, the instructor, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the entire process easy to follow. “Such an excellent class, super happy with my final product. The process was so well laid out and explained, I had access to my own set of materials throughout. The quality and selection of the leather was incredible. The pace was really good, and Naoum gave a lot of one on one attention to each of us based on extensive experience and experimentation, and the size of the class allowed this to happen very well. It was nice to also be able to customise the design of my card holder and Naoum helped me throughout that process. It was also nice to be able to emboss your own letters or shapes into the leather. I never thought I'd like leather crafting so much but it was incredibly fun, soothing and exciting, and I'm considering a next class as I already gifted the item I made. Was also super easy to use gift cards through class Bento.”
