Discover the art of leather crafting in our workshops, where you can create unique, handcrafted passport holders and personalise them to your liking. No prior experience is required, as you’ll receive full guidance from the instructor every step of the way.
This session lasts between four and five hours, with breaks scheduled every couple of hours. Participants are welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks to enjoy during these intervals.
Throughout the workshop, you will learn essential leather-working techniques, including punching, cutting, edging, skiving, burnishing, stitching, finishing, and embossing. These skills will empower you to create beautiful, durable items with confidence and precision.
The workshops are conveniently located within a 10-minute walk from Eltham train station and a 15-minute walk from Mottingham train station.
We take pride in using only the finest quality full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather sourced ethically and sustainably. Our materials include cow leather from Derbyshire, UK, which is environmentally friendly and ages beautifully; goat leather imported from France, renowned for its durability and elegance; and kangaroo leather from a Derbyshire tannery, which is exceptionally lightweight yet strong.
