Learn how to decorate your own bento cake masterpiece, using a variety of techniques and tools that you'll learn in the workshop.

Our friendly instructors will guide you every step of the way, meaning that complete beginners and seasoned bakers alike are welcome here!

Please note: no baking will take place - this is purely an icing and decorating workshop.

What you'll get up to:
- observing decorating and piping techniques from our instructor
- covering your own bento cake with buttercream
- choosing your own colours and decorations
- decorating your bento cake using skills learned in the workshop

By the end of the workshop, you'll proudly take home your uniquely decorated bento cake, ready to impress friends and family with your newfound expertise. Join us for an unforgettable experience that combines creativity and good old-fashioned fun.

Please note: all children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult with a separate paid ticket.

We run a 100% gluten-free and dairy-free bakery, meaning that your creation won't only be tasty and look fabulous - it'll be suitable for anyone following a gluten or dairy-free diet! Vegan cakes are available upon request.

“A very enjoyable experience. Diane showed us how to cover a cake with buttercream and demonstrated various piping techniques and nozzles for a variety of decorative effects. Mine wasn't very expertly done - it does need practice to get the best results, as she explained, but it looked better than anything I'd produced previously. I'm looking forward to practicing more and getting better at it after today. The cake did slump a bit on the journey home, but it still tasted good - couldn't tell it was gluten or dairy free from the taste.”

“Thank you for a wonderful morning, Dianne and China were so knowledgeable, extremely friendly and so helpful. My Daughter and I who are coeliac found it wonderful to be in a completely gluten free kitchen. The cake was absolutely delicious and I was quite impressed with my efforts! China gave us some brilliant tips and techniques to try for ourselves. My daughter and I definitely want to go again”

“An amazing morning! I absolutely loved every moment of the class! China and Dianne were both so lovely and China who ran our class was really helpful and knowledgeable. I’m thrilled with the cake I walked away with and it was delicious as well! My favourite part however was the fact that I didn’t even have to think twice about being ceoliac! Getting to be in a kitchen and not have to worry about double checking ingredients or cross contamination was something I’ve really missed. I’d love to come back again honestly! I’d recommend this to anyone regardless of dietary requirements!”
