Creating a modern art of flower arrangement "Moribana" by using "Kenzan" technique
We offer a 2-hour class to get to the foundation of its true beauty and spirit.
In this class you will be learning:
＊A brief history of Moriba and what Kenzan is used for.
＊ How to use and maintain Kenzan.
＊Demonstration of the two most popular styles:
A minimalist and fashionable style.
A new classic style by extending the Japanese Moribana(盛花)
method to the Western palette.
Students will practice at least 2 different styles and photograph the finished work in our studio setting.
The Studio will prepare all the necessary materials including vessels and Kenzans for students.
All our equipment should be returned to the studio by the end of the class.
Students can purchase our equipment if they wish.
We are based at 2 Harton St, Deptford, South-East London and are also happy to travel to provide workshops at your location
