This workshop is ideal for complete beginners or people who have just purchased a sewing machine or not used one in a long time. You can even bring in your new machine with all its attachments or feel free to use one of ours.
- This is a fun workshop where everyone will learn at their own speed.
- You will be shown the basic functionality and learn how to thread up the machine and bobbin plus lots more hints and tips.
- You will also complete two basic sewing projects to test your new knowledge.
- Feel free to bring along 1/2 Metre of Fabric or choose from our remnants.
The duration of the workshop is 5 to 6 hours and costs £70.00, which includes all equipment, material (excluding cushion pad if required - cost £3), tuition, and light refreshments provided. Note: if you have any special requirements then please bring your own refreshments. The workshop is deliberately kept small to ensure that one-to-one tuition can be provided. You will even take home two small projects that you will complete on the day. The workshop must be paid in full when booking and it is non-refundable or transferable. We will stop for a 30 min lunch break so please bring a packed lunch or you can pop out. The workshop is upstairs above Face Facts Aesthetics and there is no lift.
