“The class was really fun, a small group and very friendly atmosphere.
Neil, our instructor, was very positive and friendly, and always made sure we got a few pieces done, even if we struggled to get the hang of it.
If anything, just be aware that it will take minimum 5 weeks for you to get your pieces back after firing.
It would also be nice if alternative colours or finishes were available to choose from, as it's only a standard finish for everything, but overall it was a great first time try at pottery.”
“I thought the teachers were great, they showed you the basics of how to throw at the start, then went up and down the class helping people constantly. If you wanted to do something slightly outside your current skill they were so nice to help and guide you. I went to the class by myself and found it very welcoming”
“Great class! The teacher was amazing — very patient, clear, and encouraging. We used clay, tried the wheel, and I made my own cup. It was fun, creative, and relaxing. The gift card was easy to use too. Highly recommend!”
“Neal led a wonderful class with a relaxed and fun atmosphere. After a quick demonstration of the techniques, we were given unlimited balls of clay to work with. Neal’s expert advice was on hand for the entire session and he was supportive and clear. The studio was clean and stylish with loads of natural light. At the end of session we could pick which of our items we wanted to be fired and glazed. I’m looking forward to seeing how they turn out!”
“We absolutely loved our pottery class. The teacher was so patient and kind (and funny too!) and we felt so comfortable having a go (with lots of help offered if required). The studio is gorgeous - so light and airy and the time flew by. Would highly recommend.”
