Lovely balance of teaching and letting you experiment, thank you Lewis and our other teacher who we didn’t quite catch the name of, both so excellent!

Fabulous birthday gift, the class was friendly and supportive with really clear instructions and some helpful recovery of mistakes. Great instructor and I’m sorry I didn’t get his name. Even though my pots are tiny and imperfect I’m looking forward to seeing them glazed.

We had so much fun in this pottery throwing class! The teachers were so knowledgeable and very helpful when we needed a little help. I would highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a bit of a different date activity! Really looking forward to seeing how our pottery turns out.

We were extremely disappointed with this class for several reasons: 1) The advertisement stated we could choose from a range of stunning stoneware glazes, yet we were only offered one option - blue! 2) The portions of clay provided were very small, barely enough to work with 3) The £5 charge for each pottery item glazed is not only disproprtionate to the small size of the pottery item you are able to achieve, but a complete steal when they dispose of your items prior to collection! (see below) 4) It took six weeks for the pieces to be glazed 5) You can only collect your item through a pre-booking system which proved nigh on impossible to achieve due to extremely limited time slot availability 6) We were constantly requesting to be added to wait lists for new availability pick up dates and were never notified of these 7) When we finally managed to secure a collection slot, we were informed that our pieces had been disposed of! 8) It is shocking that House Pottery doesn’t contact customers before throwing out items that have already been paid for - especially when the only reason for the collection delay is their extremely limited pickup availability. We paid an extra £15 to have these pieces glazed, and they were disposed of without any notice. At the very least, we would appreciate a full refund of £15 for the pottery items disposed.

Rita and ?Lewis were so clear, friendly and helpful! The class was really fun, fast paced enough that no one gets bored and that you get to make multiple items (up to 4!).

Such a fun class - the two hours flew away! It would be great if the teachers could ask what kind of designs the class is interested in doing before starting :)
