Perfect way to spend an afternoon! Had a really incredible time throwing pottery, as total first timers we were made to feel so relaxed and welcomed by the team at House of Pottery. The studio is gorgeous, with a relaxed and welcoming feel. After an introduction and demonstration, we were given the space to create, but the team were always on hand to give us instruction and support when needed. It is clear that a lot of love has gone into this place, the friendly and welcoming nature of the staff made it a particularly stand out experience. Thanks, we will be back! ❤️

The class was really fun, a small group and very friendly atmosphere. Neil, our instructor, was very positive and friendly, and always made sure we got a few pieces done, even if we struggled to get the hang of it. If anything, just be aware that it will take minimum 5 weeks for you to get your pieces back after firing. It would also be nice if alternative colours or finishes were available to choose from, as it's only a standard finish for everything, but overall it was a great first time try at pottery.

I thought the teachers were great, they showed you the basics of how to throw at the start, then went up and down the class helping people constantly. If you wanted to do something slightly outside your current skill they were so nice to help and guide you. I went to the class by myself and found it very welcoming
