This is a fun activity in Pleasley, Nottingham

Join us for a relaxing watercolour class where you’ll learn how to paint different British wildlife using watercolour paints. You’ll walk away feeling so proud that you’ve created a piece of art from scratch, which will be ready to frame as you leave, making it the perfect class to gift to a loved one.

It doesn’t matter if you've never picked up a paintbrush before. This 2-hour class is perfect for complete beginners and makes a fantastic activity if you’re looking for fun things to do with friends, family, or even solo.

During this relaxing class, the award-winning artist Tara will take you through the process from start to finish of creating your fine art piece. You’ll get to completely switch off from the outside world and immerse yourself in the world of wildlife and the painting process. You will get to create using high-quality materials, which will allow you to create a piece that can be admired for many years to come.

The time will fly, you will enjoy it so much! You will walk away having enjoyed a relaxed learning environment where there are no silly questions, and as well as walking away with your art piece, it will just be the start! You will be desperate to pick up the paintbrush again as soon as possible!

This class is super easy, and anyone can do it; you don't need to be able to draw or paint to take part and get involved!

In the class, you will have access to everything you need to create your art, and you will walk away with a 300gsm watercolour piece created by your very own hands, ready to frame and keep for yourself or gift to a very lucky recipient! As well as this, you will have the skills to get home and start creating pieces of your very own!

Feel free to bring along a drinks bottle to keep you hydrated, but everything you need to create your watercolour piece will be provided!

I stepped out of my comfort zone and went to my first water colour class. The teacher gave a warm greeting and guided us through the steps of painting a mouse on a branch of blackberries. She was very approachable and encouraging, which is good for a novice like me because you felt comfortable asking questions and help when needed. I look forward to having another go.

The class was well led and easy to follow. Each step was clearly explained so even a complete novice like myself could participate easily. Help was also readily on hand for tips and advice when things went a little awry :-) A very enjoyable and relaxing experience.

This was my second class with Tara. This time we painted an owl. High quality materials were provided and step by step instruction given. Very easy to follow along and we were all encouraged to put our own interpretation on the picture. All turned out different but all were equally good. If you haven't been to one of Tara's classes you are really missing out. Thoroughly recommend these classes and can't wait for my next one.
