“This was a lovely and informative workshop. Our teacher Mandy was nice and welcoming despite the fact we were a bit late due to not being able to figure out the venue. She gave us detailed instructions on how to get in and it was plain sailing from there on.
The quality of materials was good and tools were set out in advance of us arriving. There were also examples to look at of the type of flower crystal light balls we'd be making.
Mandy was patient in explaining how to set up our dried flowers as well as very encouraging. She allowed our creative spirits to run free with helpful tips. She rescued me in particular a few times where I was struggling and I was touched by her accommodating nature. I really found it fun when she also allowed us to 'shop' for our dried fillers.
I booked the session as a birthday gift to my friend for the two of us to do and it was highly worth it. There was such a chilled out atmosphere with music in the back and Mandy was skilled in knowing when to step in and when to let us do our own thing. Of course, we also left with beautiful preserved flower crystal light balls which we can proudly say we made ourselves with her guidance.
