This is a fun activity in Manchester

Join us at Manchester's only hot glass studio this weekend workshop to learn the art of glass blowing and create your own glass ornament to take home. Niki will guide you through the process, and don't worry if you're a beginner - this is a stress-free introduction to the traditional craft.

In this workshop, you'll have 15 minutes to work with Niki and create your egg, using all the materials, colours, and tools provided by the studio. Feel free to stay for the whole session, witnessing what others create and learning about the magic of molten glass.
- Experience the excitement of blowing up a balloon made of lava as you dive into the world of glass blowing
- All materials, colours, and tools will be provided for you

Immerse yourself in this unique activity, explore the possibilities of molten glass, and take home your very own handmade Glass ornament as a memento of a fun and creative day in the studio.

Collection or postage of finished pieces can be arranged with the studio, as all glass pieces require 24 hours to cool down fully.

We had a great morning glass blowing with Niki! The workshop was very informative and enjoyable, we learned so much and would love to have another go! We’re really excited to pick up our bud vase creations and they will be displayed proudly in our homes. I’m really pleased that I booked this as a birthday gift for my sister, it was a very memorable and pleasant way to spend a morning and Niki really shared her love and knowledge of glassblowing. I would highly recommend and I would love to do this again!

Had an amazing time learning about glass blowing. I have watched people before and always wanted to give it a go! Such a wonderful teacher who calmed any worries and as someone who is anxious was so nice. Got to see loads of pieces for inspiration and then each of us in our small group of 5 got to give it a go. Could choose your colours, size and if you wanted a bauble or a small vase. They were very knowledgeable and loved hearing her stories and little tips and tricks. Can’t wait to go an collect it!

Nicola, the teacher, was very friendly and helpful. She explained not only what we were going to do in stages but the reasons why. Nicola took extra time to tell us about other aspects of glass blowing and answered all our questions. Her passion for this art form really got us interested and so I would definitely look for another course by Nicola. The workshop is easy enough to find and it truly is a workshop. A great activity which made you feel involved in the process as well as feeling in safe hands. My friend and I made a glass bauble. We will pick it up at a later date. We were able to choose the colours, style and size. A lovely afternoon! Thank you.

The class was really fun and interesting. The teacher, Nicola, was really friendly and certainly very passionate about her craft. We got to pick our colours and pattern for the bauble and then got to blow the glass whilst Nicola rolled it. Would definitely recommend the class to anyone. I had zero experience with glass work whereas my boyfriend who did the experience too has plenty of experience working with glass but we both got lots out of this class. They even let my dad come along just to observe
