Ever wanted to experience the joy of creating with clay? Our boutique studio is the perfect space to take your first steps into the world of ceramics. We take great pride in teaching you all the basics of wheel throwing, taking time to guide you step by step, ensuring you get the most out of your lesson. In this two-hour class, you will learn how to centre and pull clay to form your own pots under the guidance of our experienced teacher. You'll get hands-on experience in creating a beautifully crafted cylindrical pot to take home.
Worried about being a beginner? Don't be! Our class is designed for all skill levels, and our teacher will guide you through every step of the process. Classes are small, to ensure you get enough attention and time to practice your new skills.
In this class you'll:
- Watch a demonstration on the techniques of wheel throwing
- Get acquainted with the different tools and their uses
- Sit down at your own wheel and have a go at creating your own masterpiece
Working with clay can be a soothing and therapeutic experience, allowing you to explore your creativity in a supportive environment. Take pride in your best pot, which is included in the price and will be glazed in your chosen colour and fired in our kiln.
Please note: All classes are refundable up until 14 days prior to the start of the course. After this period, we may be able to reschedule your class. We appreciate your understanding as materials and teachers are organised in advance for the number of participants.
