“I booked onto a class with my sister to celebrate our birthdays. Ishbel was a great instructor and we had a really fun time. It ended up just being us on the class which made it even more special. We started with a warm up drawing of each other then we watched a video on Jackson Pollock before suiting up and choosing paint colours. The actual splatting was super fun and it was nice to have moments with and without the instructor to get to enjoy the experience together. Going back to collect our paintings later this week.”

“This is now the second art class, I have attended. The splatter art class with Paperdoll was an incredible, intimate experience with friends. The session kicked off with a fascinating introduction to the history of the movement, highlighting the pioneers who helped shape the art form. It gave me a deeper understanding of the artistic approach before diving into creating our own pieces.
Choosing colors was an essential part of the process—Paperdoll guided us through selecting hues that would evoke specific emotions or fit personal themes. Alma the instructor's passion was contagious, creating a relaxed, inspiring environment for everyone.
As we began splattering, I was able to let go. Expressing myself through art. The class was small, which allowed for a personal connection with the instructor, and there was ample room for experimentation. Overall, it was an amazing opportunity to explore creativity in an engaging and meaningful way. I also got to take home a beautiful piece, looking forward to hanging up in my flat.”
