This is a fun activity in Greenwich, London

In this creative workshop, you'll learn how to design and paint your own pottery pieces using various decorative techniques. Throughout the 2-hour session, you'll develop pottery painting skills while creating beautiful, personalised ceramics that will be professionally glazed and fired.

PLEASE NOTE: £6 is your studio fee only and does not include the price of individual pottery items. These can be purchased separately when you arrive.

This hands-on activity welcomes participants of all skill levels, requiring no previous pottery painting experience. The process is intuitive and enjoyable – perfect for a relaxing creative experience with friends, family, or colleagues.

During the workshop, you'll work with quality paints and tools in a welcoming studio environment. You'll select your preferred pottery item from a wide range available for purchase (priced from £9-£50), including mugs, bowls, plates, platters, jugs, trinkets, and more. The session fee covers studio use, paints, glazing, and firing, with pottery items purchased separately on arrival. You're welcome to bring your own drinks to enjoy during the session – whether wine, beer, soft drinks, matcha, or coffee.

By the end of this enjoyable workshop, you'll have created your own uniquely decorated pottery piece that will be professionally glazed and fired. Your finished item will be ready for collection approximately two weeks later – a functional and beautiful keepsake of your creative experience.

Please note: The studio fee is refundable only with 24 hours' notice, though rescheduling may be possible for last-minute cancellations.

Felt welcomed and well informed. New to painting pottery but felt comfortable and inspired by the examples and options available. We went as a family for a birthday celebration and each of us took something from it, my 8 year old loved getting creative with a heart shape trinket box, our teenager loved personalising a mug with thing she liked. Dad enjoyed the byob element and got into painting and designing and I thoroughly enjoyed my bday present. I think the experience is affordable but can appreciate that some of the pottery pieces are a little more expensive l, great variety to choose from and well worth it!

This experience was amazing! There was a booking issue which meant there was a timing complication but the team at Pottery LDN were great and very accommodating.

Nice relaxing session, teacher max was very helpful. Would have liked a slightly wider selection of things to paint other than cups and plates. There were a few small vases and plant pots, but perhaps things like jugs, containers, a butter dish, or a utensil holder, for example. Overall a good experience though, I would recommend it both individually or in groups.
