This is a fun activity in Dorking, Redhill

In this creative workshop, you'll learn how to design and create your own set of ceramic tiles using natural patterns and impressions. Throughout the session, you'll discover techniques for capturing botanical details in clay while crafting beautiful, nature-inspired tiles to display in your home.

This hands-on activity welcomes participants of all skill levels, requiring no previous ceramic experience. Working with clay is wonderfully intuitive and accessible for beginners, with its forgiving nature allowing for experimentation and creative discovery.

During the workshop, you'll work with soft, tactile clay in a peaceful garden setting, capturing the beauty of nature through direct impressions. A selection of foraged foliage will be provided for creating your prints, but you're also welcome to bring along any interesting leaves, flowers, or textures you'd like to experiment with. The process allows you to translate the intricate details of natural elements into permanent ceramic artworks.

By the end of this inspiring workshop, you'll have produced your own set of unique ceramic tiles that preserve the magical patterns found in nature. Your finished work will be taken away to be professionally glazed and fired, then posted to you approximately 3 weeks after the workshop, with postage included in the ticket price.

There is a small cafe on-site for you to enjoy refreshments during or after the workshop, but feel free to bring along your own snacks too to keep you nourished!

Spent a lovely morning crafting. The workshop was in a lovely place, a green sanctuary in the middle of London. Emily was a great teacher. Very friendly and had lots of experience and inspiring ideas. Created a lovely set of coasters. Would thoroughly recommend this workshop, a lovely way to spend a morning.
