In this sensory perfume making workshop, you'll learn how to create your own unique perfume using professional perfumery techniques. Throughout the 2-hour session, you'll develop fragrance blending skills while crafting a personalised signature scent to take home.
This hands-on activity welcomes participants of all levels, requiring no previous perfumery experience. The art of scent creation combines both technical knowledge and personal expression – making it accessible and rewarding for everyone.
During the workshop, you'll work with fragrance bases, pure floral absolutes, and botanical extracts under the guidance of aromatherapist Alise. The session begins with a brief introduction to fragrances, demonstrating how to combine different notes and elements to craft a successful scent. You'll identify notes that resonate with your individuality while experimenting with various blends of essential oils and fragrances. The class also covers proper handling of aromatic extracts to ensure their safety for everyday use.
By the end of this aromatic workshop, you'll have created your own custom Eau de perfume and/or 10ml oil perfume – a truly unique scent that reflects your personal preferences and style. You'll also take home the 'Essence of Perfumery' booklet to continue your fragrance journey beyond the class, equipped with the skills to become a perfumer capable of building successful scents.
