In this two hour fused glass workshop, you'll learn how to design and create your own large hanging sun-catcher suitable for both indoor and outdoor display.
The activity is suitable for participants of all skill levels, requiring no previous glass art experience.
During the workshop, you'll work with a variety of materials including coloured glass, crushed glass, pre-fused glass shapes, glass paints, and delicate murrini to create your unique design. You'll have freedom to consider how best to arrange elements to catch and transform light. Your finished piece will be completed with a drilled hole and string or ribbon for hanging. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided to fuel your creativity!
By the end of the workshop, you'll have designed your own distinctive sun-catcher that will be taken for kiln firing and returned to the venue for collection within 7 days.
