This is a fun activity in Walworth, London

Join Waterloo action centre at their ring-making workshop in London's central district, where you'll design and create an exquisite handmade sterling silver or solid 9ct gold ring that you can then take home with you!

Over the two hours, you'll be guided through the fundamentals of silver or goldsmithing, learning hands-on techniques like sawing, annealing, soldering, filing, and polishing. Don't worry if you're a beginner—our skilled craftsmen will be there to provide expert guidance and support throughout the class.

During the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to customise every aspect of your rings. From the size and shape to the aesthetics, you can truly make them your own. You can even add lettering or numbering on the inside or outside of your rings, drawing inspiration from examples crafted by previous students.

You'll be working with top-tier materials such as sterling silver or solid 9ct gold, ensuring that your rings are not only symbols of love but also water, sweat, and rust-proof for long-lasting wear.

At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with exquisite handmade rings that reflect your creativity and personal style.

We had such a fun time! Gem was a great teacher and took time to explain and demonstrate all the steps of the ring making process. We were also very happy with the end result! A great activity, would recommend to all!

Clem was a very good teacher. She gave us clear instructions and just the right amount of help. All three of us were delighted with our hammered silver rings.

Alise was unprofessional and unkind. I booked the silver ring making class for me a 5 other friends 2 months in advance and we never got to see our rings made. Here are some details from our experience: 1. She changed the location AND time of the event four days before the event, but only communicated the final details to me one day before. The location was in changed to a vastly different place (from Fulham to Waterloo) and a very different time (11am vs 2pm), meaning we had to upend all of our plans to make it work. When asked why there was a last minute change, she explained she was trying to accommodate a much larger group who ultimately cancelled last minute, so she now wanted to downsize the rental space for our smaller group, demonstrating zero empathy on how her actions had a huge impact on me and my group, even though we had booked our slots 2 months in advance. 2. She forgot to bring her soldering kit to the event so we weren’t able to do the second half of the class as advertised. Mistakes happen, but the lack of ownership and problem solving that Alise demonstrated was really frustrating. The only option we had was to leave the rings with her to finish herself and for her to post them back to us. 3. After the event, ClassBento decided to refund us the full class given the many mishaps we experienced. We did not ask for the refund, but we appreciated the gesture. I had asked that we still have the rings made because the rings meant a lot to us. Alise said that if we wanted the rings, we would have to pay £40 each. Overall, this was an incredibly frustrating and difficult interaction. I have paid for many similar classes via Class Bento, and this is the first time I’ve been met with such a lack of care or interest in the customer. I would not recommend her class to anybody.
