This is a fun activity in Bow, London
In this 90-minute workshop, you'll make a gorgeous trinket tray (that doubles up as a coaster!) for your home or as a wonderful gift for someone else. Experiment with casting using pigmentation, marbling, and finishing techniques, and learn about the versatility of Jesmonite AC100, a water-based eco-resin widely used to make decorative moulded objects. It is safe to use and contains no harmful chemicals.
In the first hour, you will learn how to pigment Jesmonite with your own mix of colours, and we'll explore marbling and free-pouring techniques. In the second half, you'll cast your trinket tray/coaster by pouring your material into silicone moulds.
The tray/coaster will then be sanded, sealed, and finished by me in my studio and posted to you within three working days.
