This is a fun activity in Leeds

In this creative ceramic jewellery making workshop, you'll learn how to design and craft your own unique earrings and charms using clay. Throughout the session, you'll develop essential ceramic techniques while creating beautiful wearable pieces to take home.

This hands-on activity welcomes participants of all skill levels, requiring no previous ceramics experience. The process combines simple techniques with artistic expression – perfect for both beginners and those with some experience in working with clay.

During the workshop, you'll explore three key stages of the ceramic jewellery making process. First, you'll learn design principles for creating shapes and patterns, exploring creative techniques to personalise your jewellery. Then you'll discover how to model clay into your designed shapes, working with a variety of supplied shape cutters and pattern stamps (you're welcome to bring your own texture or pattern stamps for a more personalised touch). Finally, you'll understand the glazing process – applying colour and finish to transform your pieces into professional-looking jewellery.

By the end of this engaging workshop, you'll have created your own collection of ceramic earrings and charms, gaining valuable skills in a craft that combines artistic expression with wearable results.

Details:
- Size: Each item will be approximately 1-4 cm in diameter.
- Firing and Delivery: After the workshop, your pieces will be fired, finished with studs/jump rings/hoop and delivered to your address within 2-3 weeks with an extra £5 or free to pick up at chillchillcats craftroom.

Loved this workshop. One on one teaching was brilliant. The time flew by and I can't wait to see the final results. Just some advise for the teacher, maybe limit your painting colours to 4 or 5. Make customer away be they turn up. This will avoid going over the time and it limits the design style to begin with.

This class was fantastic! Set in a beautiful shop that has inspiring art all around you, the atmosphere is spot on. I went on my own and was quickly made to feel very welcome. There was lots of freedom to experiment with ideas and our the instructions were clear with support on hand at all times. My brother bought me this as a birthday present and he chose very well as I can't wait to get my jewellery back from the kiln and also feel like I've found a new favourite shop in Leeds!
