If you become hooked (which we think you might do), your friendly teacher can talk you through the equipment needed to kickstart this fun and addictive hobby. What is glass fusing?
Glass fusing is where layers of coloured glass are cut, often layered with other inclusions like glitter, metal, bubbles etc., put into a kiln and fused together to make items such as jewellery, coasters or decorative window hangings (like sun-catchers). Don't consider yourself the arty or crafty type? Don't worry, your encouraging teacher will provide you with plenty of inspiration for designs!
The studio is equipped with a large range of coloured glass in different sizes and formats, various glitters and metal inclusions, kiln fibre, appropriate tools and safety equipment and an electric kiln.
At the end of this craft workshop in Worcester, you'll have some beautiful glass creations to call your own and some newfound glass fusing skills. Your pieces will be fired in the kiln and finished by your teacher after your class. They are usually ready for collection in approximately 1 week or you can arrange for postage at a small extra cost.
