Ian’s workshop gave an invaluable insight into street photography. During the course of the afternoon we visited many parts of London where Ian showed me the art of looking for interesting angles and good composition, as well as building confidence to photograph people. Ian was friendly and very informative, started off by asking what I wanted out of the workshop and then focused on that for the session. I came away with some great shots and a lot to think about when I'm out with my camera.

I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon of street photography with Ian. He has a comprehensive knowledge of London and knows all the best spots to get great pictures. He gave me lots of advice on how to improve my photos and I came away with images I didn’t think I was capable of. Ian is genuinely friendly and we had some great interactions with the people we were photographing, which has given me the confidence to continue on my own. Highly recommended!

I had an excellent afternoon with Ian taking photos all over London - from the Barbican and Bank to Tate Modern and Oxford Street. Ian was flexible and happy to focus on the things that interested me, both in terms of technical questions and photographic style. He knew lots of fascinating spots for capturing great shots and offered helpful tips on what to look for when taking street photos. Above all, Ian is a great guy and fun to hang out with. I’d highly recommend spending an afternoon shooting photos with him in London.
