This is a fun activity in Deptford, London
Weavers who have completed a workshop at our studio are welcome to weave independently during studio hours amongst the other weavers. You are welcome to create yardage for whichever project you like: cushions, table runners, wall hangings, clothes, art projects. Or just come along to simply enjoy the therapeutic benefits of freestyle weaving.
Arrive any time after 12pm, we close at 5.30pm Wednesdays through to Sundays.
This booking will secure you a threaded loom, plus the first hour of weaving; additional hours are charged at £20, payable after the weaving session, at the studio.
Standard black warps will be available at 40-50cm wide. White and coloured warps are subject to availability.
All materials from the yarn wall are included and as usual, you take home what you have created.
Any multi-day weaving projects require approval by studio staff (subject to availability).
Our staff will be present to support you with technical issues, but this is not a "workshop" with artistic tuition. If you'd like to learn more weaving techniques, it's best to book a Freestyle Weaving class.
You are welcome to bring your own yarns, other weaving materials, headphones etc to make yourself at home for the session.
